My New Bow

I told some people that I had gotten a new bow but didn't get to tell everyone until now. Keith and I wanted to be able to do some hobbies together and this is one I wanted to do with him. So when the chance came for us to get a bow at a good price for me we did it. These are the pictures of me shooting my bow in our basement. The main reason that the pictures were taken is because I have a very proud husband that has been teaching me how to shoot. He has been very patient with me and I think the results speak for themselves. The five arrows that I shot with the exception of that one random one down and to the left are all in a very good group and that for those of you who don't know much about shooting bows is a very good thing. After I had shot all the arrows Keith was very proud and had a huge grin on his face. He kept telling me he was going to get the camera and was giving me a "proud of you" look that would have made you think I had just given birth to our first born. It was fun though and made me happy too so thanks Keith for all your help and the fun gift!

Wow Sandra, you're a regular Robin Hood! :) That looks like fun. Maybe one of these days I can come over and give it a go.

I showed Phil your picture and he was seriously impressed by your skills. Do you have any other skills? Bow staff maybe? Nun chucks?

That's awesome, Sandra!! That's so funny how proud of you Keith is. I'm not surprised, though. Unfortunately, if I want to get the same look out of Kevin (the "proud of you" look), I think I'd have to build a house...by myself.

Look at you and your bad self! I'll look for you both at the next Olympics!
