Easter

So I know that I am very behind in my blogging since Easter was a few weeks ago and I am just now getting around to posting pictures. I have to say thought that I am doing a lot better with it only being a few weeks behind instead of a few months like I usually do. Any way here are the highlights of our Easter fun.

Coloring eggs was so much fun and we did a lot of eggs!
The finished product.
The kids both needed sunglasses and so here they are showing off how cool they look. Now every time they put them on they say to each other, "Hey cool dude!"
Eli counting his candy and Mckenna showing her Cadbury Egg. It just isn't Easter without a Cadbury Egg.

The next Sunday we got ready for church and the kids put on their new Easter clothes they got from Grandma Judy. Eli looks so handsome!
I couldn't get Mckenna to hold still for anything so Dad held her so I could get a picture of her in her dress and new hat. So very cute!
After church Judy came and took pictures of all of us. Here is the family!

Eli and Mckenna.

Keith and the kids.

Sandra and the kids.

We almost didn't get this picture because by this time the kids were sick and tired of taking pictures and wanted to be done. I thought it turned out really well though.

Mckenna's hat kept blowing off so after we were all done taking pictures we took it off her. She wanted to go play and was really happy when she kept finding pine cones all over. Here she is after she found one. So exciting!

Eli wanted to run and play and after sitting for so long from taking pictures Dad gave him some spins.

Crazy Weather

This last months has been so crazy! I'm not even talking about how busy we have been as a family I'm talking about the weather. We have enjoyed such nice warm days and then the next thing I know there is all kinds of snow on the ground! I have complained a lot to Keith but one day I just took the snow for what it was... the best packing snow we have ever had. So here are the pictures of some of our CRAZY snow days.

Eli's snow angle. If you look really hard you can see it.
Mckenna's made a snow angle too but she is standing right in the middle of it.

Eli taking a break from playing so hard in the snow.
Mckenna eating the snow.

She ate a lot and really liked it!

Our one and only snowman this year. Lets hope it's the last!

ELI'S BIRTHDAY!

My son is 4 years old! I know I don't have to explain that feeling I have of total disbelief to any of you that have kids that just keep getting bigger and bigger! Every time he stands next to me and he is higher then my hips it just blows me away. Or when he asks me to hold him and I can barley pick him up I wonder where the time has gone. I have tried to tell him to stop growing but for some odd reason it isn't working. Well even though he isn't listening to me about not growing any more, I am going to get mushy here for a little bit and tell him and all of you how happy I am to be his Mom. I can't even imagine life without him, because he is such a GREAT kid! Most of all I can't believe how much joy and happiness he has brought into our lives! Happy Birthday Buddy! WE LOVE YOU!

Eli got money and his first birthday card from Great Grandma and Grandpa Wharton. He was so excited and mostly about the card.
Since Eli's birthday was on Thursday we let him pick what he wanted for dinner. He picked hamburgers and french fries. We had his Grandma and Grandpa Snyder came out and they gave him some gifts. Here is one that is a car he got to build with Dad.
We let him open this gift from Keith and I and when he saw it he said, "Now I get to go fishing with Daddy!"

Eli's birthday party was on Saturday and here is Mckenna and Heather helping me get the stuff ready for the robot bags. I love Mckenna's bed head!

Since it was a robot party here is me getting his cake ready. Almost a robot...
Now it's a ROBOT!!!

Opening gifts from his friends. He got so much great stuff!

Here are the clothes from Grandma and Grandpa Metcalfe.

The best part about opening presents is getting to play with them and even better is having friends to play them with you!

Time to blow out the candle! Keith took this great shot.

Let them eat cake!

I don't even have half the pictures of all the great stuff that Eli got. I didn't take any pictures of the clothes that Brent got for Eli. Or the gifts that he got from Grandpa and Grandma Wharton. Most of all Heather was here and I didn't even get any pictures of her gifts! I hope you all know that we are so grateful for all that you do for us and most of all our kids. Thanks for making Eli's birthday so special!
