We got our tree about a week ago and I got some great video of us putting the lights on it. Eli had so much fun as you will see and just wanted to help Dad with every thing. Mckenna was all over the place wanting to get as close to the lights as she could. Having your kids be so excited about the tree helped me remember how much I loved it when I was little. I loved the smell of the new tree and seeing it come to life with all the decorations and lights. Mom always did such a good job of making the tree look so good. So now that I got to see my kids enjoy the Christmas tree it will be a lot of fun this year to experience even more of the Christmas season through their eyes.

Oh my gosh, your kids are so stinking cute. I love real trees! They smell so wonderful and they look good too. Did Keith cut yours down or did you go to a tree lot? It looks beautiful. Yeah!
Eli looks about the same age as Chase and we're having so much fun this year too! I think Chase is finally understanding some things about Christmas. He loves the lights (we've already driven around town) and he points out every Santa hat he sees. It's great seeing Christmas through your kids' eyes!!

That was so great. I can't believe how big Eli is! It is so much fun to see old things become new through the eyes of your children.
